I got a notification today saying this is the four year anniversary from when I started this blog. Fancy that.
Editing my current short story has been kicking my butt. However editing is not my forte in the first place, and writing two short stories in two weeks at the beginning of the month has kinda burned me out. So this will be brief, but I figured I’d mark the day with a post.
Ah, sixteen year old April, what did your think when you started this blog? It probably didn’t grow as much as you thought or hoped it would, but it’s been alright. You’ve spent more time recently on writing stories to sell, which is probably best for now. You’re still writing, and that’s the important part.
Sixteen doesn’t seem that long ago, but at the same time I’ve definitely learned things and matured in many ways. And now feel like a very different person. This year will bring the biggest change yet. Let’s see where the adventure will lead next.
Thanks to everyone who’s stuck around consistently or occasionally, it makes me feel a little less like I’m talking to myself–although I’m no stranger to that.
